El Nino Updates

December 16, 2015

According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the wettest months in Southern California will be January through March.

Forecasts indicate this El Nino is lining up to be one of the top three strongest El Ninos since 1950.

NASA Scientist Bill Patzert, who accurately predicted the severity of the 1997/98 El Nino, stands firm in his prediction that this winter could very well be the worst on record for Southern California.

The following video published December 10, 2015 by the National Weather Service gives a quick update on "El Nino Status and When Will it Rain in Southwest California."
